DHTML
Signatures
Below is a table
of links to animated signatures which I wrote to give my emails
a bit of life without incurring the need to attach graphic files.
Some of the signatures are more mathmatically artistic than others
but I have marked what I consider to be the best ones with the word
Favourite.
The animation
routines currently required Internet Explorer 4 or later, both from
the need for the JavaScript functionality and also to give the tables
used for the graphics a background colour. Other browsers should*
not cause errors to appear as code has been included to check for
the presence of IE4 and only run the animation if found.

* During
testing it appears that a bug in Netscape 3.01 Gold causes an error
in the parsing of the JavaScript for signatures 6 to 14. It appears
not to recognise the JavaScript switch construct. If anyone
can confirm this I would be interested in hearing from you. Until
I know for certain the reason behind the error I will leave all
the signatures available to all browsers.
